Amplifiers:A Keeper for Life. Do you know of one ?
My five Emotiva XPA-1 which give a potential headroom of five kilowatts. I know it's a bit of slight of hand, but with the eleven band graphic equalizers in the UMC-1 and my poormans budget it pushes my Palladium, 27, 37, and 38 beautifully. The r...
Denon 4810 DSX and PLII....good, bad, indifferent
I forgot to mention that since my first post I now have a dedicated space which is 24x17 so I have the space to enjoy my width and height channelsI could say something arrogant like I'll put it up against much more expensive systems but I think it...
Denon 4810 DSX and PLII....good, bad, indifferent
Since my original post I added a denon 4306 to build up to an 11.3 system with two klipsh rt12d and two inexpensive pioneer subs hooked together. I'm thinking another rt12d will replace them since I'm such a bass head. I have rf83, rf7, rf82, rc64...
Denon 4810 DSX and PLII....good, bad, indifferent
I wrote to Audyssey who said the same thing. Very nice guy named Chris.
Experience with Klipsch RB 35 Bookshelf Speakers?
I've only owned the 81s which are well rounded and have nice bottom end.
Denon 4310 or Integra 9.9
I have the 4810 and wouldn't trade it for an Integra. First there's the DSX and PLII although not at the same time in the 4310Build quality and reputation.Past positive experience with Denon 4306Runs relivitively cool
Best affordable SACD player that does superb CD's
I think the TRL modded Sony CD595 is a great player that will give most any player a run for its money. The cost was about $900 for player and mods and this player does not disappoint. I has some heavy duty artillery inside and gives the appearance...
TRL 595 Discussion Died Years Ago
Thanks for the good common sense information, I appreciate it.
TRL 595 Discussion Died Years Ago
I'm very perplexed because I put my TRL 595 up for sale so I could raise money to get a Sony 400 disc player modified by TRL. I'm not getting any bids on my auction, not one after a ton of views. OK it looks a little awful on the door but that is ...

Thanks, its obvious that there's controversery around disclosure and I'm not trained to understand the details, even if they were available. Again, I do believe a company has a right to their secrets. If the product outperforms the compettion, tha...
TRL 595 Discussion Died Years Ago
Good point. Sometimes there's just nothing else to say. I, on the other hand, have a new toy and want to talk about it. Thank you for indulging me.The mystery is proprietary information. I guess they feel like they developed something special and,...
TRL 595 Discussion Died Years Ago
Thanks for your info guys. It settled my worries a bit. I paid $750.00 and it was a little tricky to pick out the improvements during the burn in which I believe is well behind me since I think I've got over 600 hours on it. I really do like the s...
TRL 595 Discussion Died Years Ago
I used my Panasonic BD35 Bluray. It seems obvious to me that I'm getting more interesting music from the TRL but it would be nice to hear a side by side with the stock 595 or some other good SACD players. I was reading about some of these people w...
TRL 595 Discussion Died Years Ago
I just got one in early June 09. I'm happy with it,but the last thread generated such controversy a few years ago, I thought that a consensus might have been reached after some side by side comparasions had been done and further discussion.
