Thoughts on the Linn LP12 turntable
As A Linn owner of 38 years, my view is that at every price level that Linn offers a table, there are many superior tables, often cheaper than a Linn. I have spent several times the original price of the table to improve it. It is an outmoded desi...
Linn LP12 Turntable Upgrades - Superb new Stack Audio UK - Alto range

I have listened to a unipivot for many years, but recently got an arm with dual vertical pivots, the Origin Live Encounter. The most incisive, dynamic sounding arm I have ever heard. It plays bass like no unipivot can because the arm cannot swing ...
Turntable Mat question
I use a leather mat, (split cowhide) on my Linn. Sounds better than the original felt, better than cork. Drops the noise floor - really. And eliminates static.
