N802's - Bi-amp or better amp? I use a Pass X-350 and am very happy. Previously used a Sherborn 2100 and bi-amped with four of the channels. Sherborn was nice and I was not displeased, but Pass extended highs and tightened the bass. | |

Which amplifier to drive B&W Nautilus 802? I too own a set of N802's and would second many of the comments. I currently use a 7 channel 300wpc Sherbourn. Initially, I used 2 of the amps channels to drive the 802's; then switched to 4 channels to "biamp." Wow! what a difference in dynamics ... | |

Bi-Amp Question Sean, thanks for your response. I should also have stated that my preamp for 2 channel is a Cary 2002 with tubes and a HT bypass. To split the signal, I use a simple RCA "Y" splitter from the preamp to the Sherbourn amp. Is this configuration like... |
