Michell clamp too tight for Spacedeck?
Im using a clamp with my spacedeck/mm.... at first it was a michell clamp, but i butchered it and made my own as the michell was too tight. The mystic mat definitely works with a clamp.
Best speaker cable for audio physic padua speakers
I agree, cables arn`t the answer. I would look at your amp, and get somthing with a little more bloom and warmth at the lower end.I use a 35w valve amp, and have no shortage of bass.
Audio Physic Virgo II's VS Audio Physic Padua
can`t understand why it didnt sell well, its a stunner! As i said, the virgo at £1k more didnt justify the leap between the padua and the virgo to these ears, i owned the virgo 2 before the padua.. The padua sounds as good in everyway, a bit clean...
Audio Physic Virgo II's VS Audio Physic Padua
not long sold my virgo 2 and replaced them with the padua. A better speaker, especially the bass which is a lot tighter. The padua is like a mini avanti (same drive units) and the scorpio that replaced the padua has the drive units used in the chea...
Can Audio Physics be run on low power tubes?
Forgot to add, even at very low volumes, the virgo 2 keeps all the detail and space intact. You don`t need to crank it up to get the best sound, A very even performance, at low and high levels.
Can Audio Physics be run on low power tubes?
i`m using a 30w pp tube amp into virgo 2`s. No problems at all with bass, and the midrange is sublime.I got them off a guy who was running high power classé ss amps into them, but they sound better via the tube amp, with a far bigger, deeper sound...
audio physic virgo and valves
I took the amp round to my brothers, who has a pair of martin logan s, sensitivity of 88 db, 4 ohms (dipping to 1 0hm @ 20 khz). The unisis drove them without any problems, loud too :)so, i am now on the lookout for some physics :)

i agree, i would rather have quality than quantity any day.i now think that 35 watt oc class "A" will sound great, even in the long term.I think the hefty current reserve helps driving tricky (ish) loads.
