NAD M10 V2 for Harbeth P3ESR?
My budget is $2,500, and I prefer used. I had a two thoughts since the posts above: 1) Consider a miniDSP for room correction and sub integration. There are reasonably priced miniDSP products, and a few that are Roon Ready (I’m a Room user). And...
NAD M10 V2 for Harbeth P3ESR?
@arafiq - thanks for the comment. Do you like the idea of using the M10 as the preamp with a separate power amp? I thought room correction and bass integration through Dirac might be best. I’ll admit Im not familiar with external crossovers or how...
NAD M10 V2 for Harbeth P3ESR?
@jasonbourne71 - I think that’s a great idea. First Watt amplifiers have always intrigued me but their low power gives me pause with the P3s. What speakers do you drive with your F5?
Great Small Room Speakers for $3-5k
Thanks for the additional information on those RA speakers, @nonoise. Those do seem really great! Follow up question to this group - I haven't yet purchased the P3s (which was my original conclusion) because I'm getting new carpet installed in th...
Great Small Room Speakers for $3-5k
Thanks all for the suggestions. My plan is to buy a used pair of Harbeth P3s and then select a few other speakers (like the Revival’s) that allow for home auditions and see what comes out on top. Any comments on that plan?

@yogiboy - What stands did you use for the P3s?

@ddd1  - I appreciate that response. That's what alluring about the KEFLS50 Meta and KC62 option - it feels easier to dial that in.  And, what's also alluring about getting a slightly bigger speaker such as used Harbeth 30.1. There's a pair on Au...

Thanks for the input so far. I’ve never heard Joseph or Fritz but I don’t think any local dealer has them in store. The aesthetic of B&W has never really appealed to me. I’ve been curious about the MoFi SourcePoint 10, though its large physica...
Power Down Sequence for Amp / TT to Avoid Speaker Pop
@arcticdeth - Rogue's user manual says the opposite for Power On. 1) Turn on all sources, 2) power up Sphinx, 3) select listening source and play.  Then, they state the reverse for Power Down. Your sequence for me led to the pop when turning off t...
Power Down Sequence for Amp / TT to Avoid Speaker Pop
Great, this is super helpful - grounding, input selector trick, and keep the platter spinning. Thanks all.
Accept free Audiophilleo 1 and upgrade DAC?
Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't mention above that I'd probably be looking for an MQA-capable DAC because I stream from Tidal often. Should I reconsider? I don't think MHDT is.
