Integrated Tube Amp approx. $2,500
Look up Lejonklou Boazu. It’s an amazing sounding integrated and the used price is exactly in your price range. It’s dead quiet so perfect for high efficiency speakers like your Cornwall, detailed and not fatiguing at the same time. It’s very mini...
How to make your amp more expensive
Primaluna comes to mind. They sell by the pound :)
Fun With Cable Risers
Have you tried sitting at your listening position and asked someone to lift your cables? Absolutely no difference and you’re fooling yourself if you say they make a difference.
Aurender Conductor app reliability and user experience
I’ve been using Aurender streamer in the last two years and never had any issues with the Conductor app. I think it’s very easy to use and stable. And yes you can use both iPhone and iPad.
Thinking about another amplifier (Galion)
I wouldn’t move from Line Magnetic to Galion. You can buy the Galion and compare. If you like it more, then sell the LM.  I have LM 518ia and it’s one amplifier that still stays in my system since I bought it and I have tried 7-8 amps the last 3 y...
Adding a Dac and Stresmer
@wsrrsw Aurender N100H and Lumin T2
Adding a Dac and Stresmer
Aurender is an excellent streamer with a great app. A big improvement in sound quality from Bluesound Node2 and has a detailed and natural sound as opposed to overly warm sound of Lumin streamer that I used to have.
Looking for a new (preowned OK) line stage under $5K: suggestions?
+1 on Conrad Johnson ET5. It’s a fantastic preamp with magical midrange.
Lumin u1 or Aurender N10
I use Aurender N100 now and I owned Lumin T2 for a few weeks. Didn’t like Lumin at all, it’s overly warm like it tries hard to be ‘musical’. I had RME DAC at that time and I had to use the equalizer to make it sound listenable but I gave up and so...
Best Integrated that you've heard under $5k
It’s funny I saw this thread and I immediately thought there must be this guy peddling Raven Blackhawk and bam.. there it is! lol
Audio Research preamps EXCESSIVE OPERATING COSTS
Sell the ARC and get a ss preamp.  Who uses tube preamp for general TV viewing anyway?
Raven Audio Celest’ Towers First Impreeions
@dgcurtis36 Thank you for your response, much appreciated.
Raven Audio Celest’ Towers First Impreeions
@dgcurtis36 Thank you for this review.  I placed an order for Tekton Electron SE but I'm now thinking of cancelling my order and get the Raven Celest' instead.  Since you've heard both Tekton and Raven speakers, I would love to hear your opinion i...
Leave tube amps always on?
Tubes consume more power if turned on and off regularly so you should leave them on all the time? Clearly a flawed logic from the LTA owner
Need preamp recommendation
+1 on Don Sachs preamp, this is an outstanding preamp and can compete with or even better than other more expensive preamps. I bought the LTA preamp and returned it after one week. It has a nice clarity but there’s no warmth that you get from a tu...
