Good cheap silver wire? This, of course, is very diy. You can buy fine silver wire at jewelry supplies.$5 an ounce or something rediculous like that. Very cheap. You have to figure out how best to insulate it and protect it from oxidation, and all that. But you can exper... | |
Best Preamp under 10K Get some modern design tubes going. Space....liquidity.....full imagery... not cardboard cut-outs. My vote is a very obscure Encore Electronics DL2010.2 Can be found occasionally!!! for $1300 used. Killer!!! If you can't afford a Cat, this is it. | |
