My number one takeaway is... only you know what you like, so filter out the hype.  Most importantly, whenever possible, listen to whatever component you're considering at home connected to your system.  I auditioned 5 integrated amps at home befor...

Time for the Dynaco to go, Affordable Integrated or Separates for Wilson's Under $2.5K?
For the money, imho, the Simaudio MOON 240i (around $2300 but you may be able to find a deal) is tough to beat. It blew away the rogue Sphinx v3 in my in home audition.  It’s worth a listen.  
So I'm still searching for the right amp...
Okay now you got me curious to ask: what exactly do you think is the difference between a phono stage and a phono amp?I just meant I’d like an integrated with a good built in phono section so that I don’t have to buy a separate photo preamp right ...

@reubent Trying to keep it $1400 or less, but I do see a few elicit-r's out there for about 1500-1650.  I was thinking new, or at least open-box/demo, but you gave me something to at least consider.  Thanks.
