What is the best audiophile speaker for a tiny square room? Dutch and Dutch 8CState of the art actives designed to be placed close to a wall and built in DSP. I have mine in a reflective 10 by 10 room where most other speakers are doomed to fail, but they sound outstanding. The 8Cs can go almost anywhere a...
Best Speakers for a small Nearfield room, budget at most $10000 (used is also ok) Dutch and Dutch 8C if you can find a pair used. Three way actives with easily integrated room correction designed to function well in any sized room and to be placed close to the wall.

Music with differences between class A and class D amplifiers Thank you Al, I appreciate the help. Will take a listen tonight, happy holidays to you as well!
Music with differences between class A and class D amplifiers From what I have read in other discussions as well as publications, LS50s are quite sensitive to amplification. When I include a crappy AVR in my listening test, the treble noticeably sounds more congested than either of the other amplifiers.
Music with differences between class A and class D amplifiers Thanks George. Yes, this is a small room near field setup where theoretically the first few watts are the most important. |
