| good speaker with Sound stage behind???? Depending on your space constraints the magnepan mg12 or 1.6. I have the mg12 and soundstage is nice and deep. (room acoustics and the quality of the recording are also at play here). | |

| Magnepan MMG or MG12? I was in the same boat about 2 years ago. I didn't hear the mmgs but auditioned the mg12. Ended up finding a pair of used mg12s (about a year old) for about $750. I really enjoy these speakers! | |
| 14 x 14 foot room, too small for Magnepan MMGs? You should be fine. I have MG12 in a 16x15 room and they sound great. I move them out about 3 feet from the rear wall when listening; when done I push them back out of the way. | |
| a couple of questions about maggies Been driving maggie 12s with Odyssey Stratos for about 6 months now with great results. Room size is 14 x 16. No sub at this point but will likely add one mainly for home theater use in the future. |
