"Cars are Cars" by Paul Simon...are my channels reversed?
Hi I have an American pressing. On “Cars are Cars”the lines Drive ‘em on the left and Drive ‘em on the right appear in the Left and Right channels respectively. Hope this helps.Ian
High Praise for Basis Audio
Similar positive experience for me on a much smaller scale. I requested the specs for my lost Allen key for the anti-skate weight adjustment on  my Vector. Jolanta sent me a replacement and some extra O-rings at no charge.to Australia. A seemingly...

HRS ADH Record Weight
I get similar improvements using the ADH with my Raven One. However many Raven owners prefer no clamps or weights because of perceived losses in top end/ air etc. In general the usual differences in taste, systems, turntable design and "voicing" a...
Good sounding Deutsche Grammophon recordings

New terrastone footers and plinth for VPI classic1
Hi Just a comment about the Terrastone plinth with another turntable- the Raven One. I ordered one from Dan a year or so ago, on Jeff Catalano's recommendation. Note that I committed the cardinal audiophile sin of changing more than one variable a...
TT to another room, no vibs, better sounds?
Further to the points made by Mafuta and Dougdeacon :My approach makes no sense if there are continuous or contiguous rigid surfaces or substrates on the ground between sources such as nearby vehicles or industry and the receiver point, where our ...
TT to another room, no vibs, better sounds?
Hi everyone,I have been reading posts here for years, not having much that is new and useful to say. Maybe some will find the following approach useful:When renovating our home we added a combined work/listening room with a suspended floor with an...
