Quality of Analogue Productions pressings I own many Analogue Production LP'S, and I own all of the presently reissued Prestige mono series and Verve 45's pressed at QRP, and not a single one was defective or did not sound absolutely fabulous in every way. The entire package is first class.
TT stopping in midstream of playback? Perplexed. The power to the power supply has never gone out - in other words, the power supply has always remained 'ON' when the table automatically stops itself during playback - the AC has always remained intact to the unit - the power and speed lights hav...
TT stopping in midstream of playback? Perplexed. Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I won't attempt to remove the cover of the power supply, but I might try turning the computer off, unplug it, and disconnecting the modem when listening. I'd love the solution to be something that simple. Than...
TT stopping in midstream of playback? Perplexed. No. I need to reinitiate the turntable 'play' mode again by pressing the play button. The table always starts up again and continues to play beautifully without any issues for an undetermined amount of time and then, however many days or hours lat...
TT stopping in midstream of playback? Perplexed. PS: AVID has been great, and I made the Sequel upgrade for a reason: the incredible sound - to my ears - is undeniable. I'm simply fishing for a solution from anyone owning any turntable who may have had the same experience. Thanks for any replies.
Best MC step up transformer I have a Bob's Devices 1131 CineMag SUT. This is a brilliant SUT and sells for roughly 1200.00 Check out Bob's website. Art Dudley loves this device and has compared it against the best out there. I can't say enough about its build and sound quali...
My turntable hates Cat Stevens I don't think its your turntable. My copy of Tea for Tellerman (Analog Productions) has the same sibilance you've described, and in those same areas, and this doesn't happen on any of my other albums. Your set up I'm sure is probably OK, unless th...

Anyone had power supply failure with an AVID TT? Thanks so much FrankC. I appreciate your feedback - and everyone else - thank you as well.
Anyone had power supply failure with an AVID TT? I did measure the AC voltage over one weekend, and the only fluctuation noted was between 117-122 volts. With the Volvere, I had the TT plugged into a Bryston Isolation Transformer (BIT15), and the BIT'S voltage was a measured 125 volts at its out... |
