Requesting Your Expertise - Best Options - High Sensitivity Speakers For A Smaller Room
@ditusa,    Hey Mike thanks for that. The OP and his favourite speaker designer would do well to watch the video. On page 1 in my first post I suggested he not reject a speaker he would love because of its size. I wonder just how many other enthu...
Requesting Your Expertise - Best Options - High Sensitivity Speakers For A Smaller Room
@ditusa, Yes this concept of overloading the room was obviously a brain fart of some ill advised dunce that was picked up by a few and then by repetition gained traction, much like spikes did in the 80s and we all know how that went: Spikes will ...

"Not to mention I have seen this happen numerous times in person." What exactly is it you see or hear (in person)? Please educate me. Oh and by the way what qualifies a person to become a reviewer? What school do they go to and what qualificatio...

It's just laughable when people think or believe that speakers will overload the room or be too big. I have seen no evidence to support this baseless claim. I have set up many systems and the size of the speaker is a non-issue.

Tough Nut Cones Isolation for loudspeakers, brilliant solution over spikes
Spikes are a mistake from the 80's and like many things in life gained a reputation they don't deserve. The drivel about them acting as mechanical diodes and isolating speakers and such like had anybody with access to a lathe churning them out. Sp...
Subwoofer Question
@maprik, to directly answer your question:  Could having just one subwoofer (REL T/7x)with the crossover set around 60hz pull my image to the side that the sub is on?  Rereading my long post I realised that I did not specifically address this con...
DIY Speaker Kits, a good idea?
@simonmoon, Hi Simon I read with mounting interest that you owned Bagby's Kairos speakers. I design and build speakers and have a friend who asked me to help with assembling the XOs for his pair of Kairos. The components were reasonable quality bu...
Subwoofer Question
As always, much misinformation regarding subs and how to set them up. I see the ridiculous crawl method being suggested again and again. This is not optimal, if you find a spot where it sounds good it will probably not be where you would like and ...
