| Large speakers plus EQ, what have you done? I have magnepan 3.7 speakers in a smallish room. Have tried dirac several times but always get dissatisfied with the sound. I can make the bass sound very controlled but it also takes the “life” out of the music. So far I prefer no EQ. | |
| Seeking speakers under $3K for 10x12 ft room and driven by 20wpc tube amp I’ve had apogee stages and currently Maggies. In between I had a low power system with Spatial Audio open baffle speakers. They are very efficient. For me closest to the ribbon sound soundstage I like. |
