Revel Rhythm2 I have seen them in Munich, Germany at the High End 2010 show. Pretty impressive. The price in Germany will be in the range of at least 15,000 EUR, so I expect them to be available for around $12,000 in the US.
Do Kimber KCAG's sound bright???? It's really funny to see all the discussions on how cables sound. There is no such thing as cable XYZ "sounds this or that". It depends on your system. 20 years of cable auditions also tell me that the most expensive cable is hardly the perfect ch...
Revel new Ultima2 Salon have you heard it ? French_fries,frankly speaking I doubt that (SA)CD player development has seen relevant progress in the last couple of years, so I'm not really surprised that the 390S still does a great job! The same might be true for speakers as well... After 20 ...
Revel new Ultima2 Salon have you heard it ? Kennyt, many thanks for your suggestion to try the Transparent cables. I have asked Revel and they said that Kevin has used a lot of different cables for the Ultima2 development and mainly Levinson amps. My cable tests continued: MIT Oracle 3.2 and...
Revel new Ultima2 Salon have you heard it ? Now that I have had the speakers in my listening room for a while, I can add that I CANNOT recommend JPS Labs Aluminata speaker cables ($10,000!). ML 432 amp. No chance against the Kimber KS-3038 by a huge margin! I was told that I need more Alumi...

John Dunlavy may not be with us much longer. Pataldorr: The newer model is called Duntech DSM-15. I listened to it in the factory in Sydney in August 06. Not really expensive amplification/cables. One of the 10 best speakers I ever auditioned in 20 years, the size is similar to the Wilson W/...
Speakers to hang on to for LIFE After 14 years with my Duntech Crown Prince and having listened to approx. 100 "top of the line" speakers all over the world, I finally decided to get my old mates refurbished. Having replaced all drivers and they parts of the crossover that are s...
John Dunlavy may not be with us much longer. John passed away a few weeks ago. Today I have contacted Kiat Low (Duntech Australia owner, see above) again and now and I'm very sad and sorry that I have to tell you that John Dunlavy passed away in January 2007. John was without any doubt one o...
John Dunlavy may not be with us much longer. Late 2006 I met Kiat Low, the owner of Duntech (Australia) and he told me that John lives in a nursing home now. He suffers from Alzheimer's disease. |
