| Tube newb, what to do? Everything's going great! Amp runs fine, but I was a bit surprised to see that the power transformer gets warm during light use. I guess the amp draws a lot of current even if I'm playing it at a modest volume. | |

| Is bias setting necessary on matched tubes? OK I talked with a repair tech and he said it would be $125 to bias the amp. In addition he's going to go over the amp to see that it's all working correctly. I think it's a fair price for that service, am I wrong? | |
