A review of Dynaudio C2 vs KEF Blade 2 Im still trying to process having blades in an apartment lol. What are the dimensions of the viewing area i may ask? I have Kanta bookshelves that I am very happy with, but feel like anything over a small tower would be over doing it in my space. ...
Dynaudio resolution The special 40s have an esotar tweeter and its definitely hi-res and fun sound while still feeling neutral and true to the source, and non fatiguing. The best of all worlds imo
Speaker suggestions under 4k A couple years ago I listened to Monitor Gold 300 floorstanders and was very impressed, seemed to be a great balance between detail yet not fatiguing, excellent all arounder. This was not the new model but the one that came out a couple of years a...
Former Special 40 - Advice on next purchase? Thank you I’ll see if I can demo spendor A line. They’re not super common in us but I think there’s a dealer within an hour.if 3D soundstage is something you value then without a doubt put the speakers in front of the windowsthank you for this sug...
Opportunity I briefly owned the 702s2. Very detailed, sparkly, exciting, but atleast with my equipment upper mids were way too forward and I couldn’t turn the volume up because it would be detail overload. Like a rich dessert you can only take a couple of bit...

Warm romantic & detailed Initial post said he wanted to stay in 7/8k ballpark. Aren’t the harbeths 2.5x that? What is the magic in that brand, the pricing seems insane.
Audio Troy Capital Audio Fest the good, the bad and the ugly! Im literally kicking myself for not seeing the Spatial and Salk rooms, how did i miss it? For anyone who has heard the Spatial's, are they good all arounders, considered them to be pretty detailed also? Or are they more of a gimmick that does a h...
GT Audio Works at Capital AudioFest 2019 As you said, the scale and presence of these were amazing.,.
Audio Troy Capital Audio Fest the good, the bad and the ugly! I’m surprised no one has mentioned the Focus Aegis or Gt audio works rooms. Was blown away by both. Is it just that these aren’t new speakers so everyone has heard them already? I was let down by tekton moabs - small room and just played a cd on r...
Sources for Focal 1038Be II DJMitchells assertion ("Per Focal, there is no difference between 1038 Be and 1038 Be II. They are the same.") was correct, as all 1038s have the same tweeter and there is no such thing as a 1038 Be-1.
Sources for Focal 1038Be II 1027 and 1037 are be-1, 1028 and 1038 are all be-2 with the bigger tweeter. Confirmed with focal |
