| Transparent Stereo From Surround Preamp/Processor I use the Marantz AV8003 and it fits the bill. Possibly the current model would work. Highly recommended and better than the pure stereo preamp (Naim 72 with Avondale cards) that it replaced. | |

| What does audyssey do where subwoofer rolls off I definitely researched this on the web first. I didn't find much. It makes sense that it would be more about removing peaks than things like boosting bass. It would be nice if there was a way to see what it was doing to the frequency curve. | |
| sibilence in right channel on occasion Thanks. I will try antiskate first since I had it set a little low. VTF is set towards the high end of manufacturers recommendation (it's a Shelter 7000). Already using magic eraser. |
