| Anyone audition the new mcintosh 452 amplifier? I just got mine a few days ago, traded a Pass XA 30.5. I've only had time to put a few hours on it, I'll post here after I get it broken in a bit. | |
| bias Classic 60, Audio Research I had a V70 and struggled getting the replacement tubes biased. I ended up sending it to ARC to get it done but it cost me $400. I went back to transistors to avoid the tube hassles. It was a nice sounding amp though. | |
| Counterpoint SA-5000 - phono stage question I had an SA 3000, it sounded great but tended to be a bit noisy...micro phonic tubes and a bit of hiss no matter what I did. I finally got used to the slight noise and just enjoyed the music. | |
