Anyone familier with Fuselier speakers?
Also have floor model 3.3 purchased in 1983. They are currently in use as my rear surrounds and do pretty well with my Maggie 1.6 mains and Maggie center. A great speaker that I can not part with. The closest in my opinion to the clarity of presen...
Lexicon MV-5; Any good?
The only item in that price range $1,800 that is of slight interest to me is the Marantz Av8003. Here is the linkhttp://us.marantz.com/Products/2317.aspI have not listened to the unit and tend to shy away from receiver makers. But this unit gives ...

The 1.6 Maggies - any thoughts on best amp?
Have had 1.6 Maggies & Classe amps for 10 years. Very satisfied with performance and sound & plenty of juice with Classe amps that put out 150 @ 8ohms & 300 @ 4 ohms.Bought amps on the used market

What ever brand make sure 1.3 compliant for deep color, high speed.

The best speaker on the used market for $1000.00
For your type of music and a $1,200 used budget you may want to add Magnepan 1.6 QR to your list but you will need a minimum of 200 watts @4 ohmns applification to do these speakers any justice.
Vandersteen Quatro v Magnepan 3.6
The Maggie 1.6 is the easier to set up and power vs. the 3.6 which reveals more of the electronics behind the speakers and especially needs a clean high current and power amp. With the 3.6 bad recordings sound BAD. With the 1.6 bad recordings get ...
