Power conditioner for amps
The answer to your question of the Adcom getting hot is no, it does not get that hot at all. Something is wring with yours. Call them, you can get the # from their web site and ask for tech. support, they are very helpful.Brian 
Preamp with remote under $1000
Anthem Pre-1, this is a great tube pre-amp for the $. I owned one for about a year. You can still find them new at some audio shops for arond $600.00 or so. Brian

My advise is to use the power conditioner. I have never heard of it starving power to the amps. I use the same adcom in one of my set ups with 4 amps coming out of it. I used a cheaper surge protecter and plugged it into one of the adcoms outlets ...

Yes the Joseph's have 2 sets of posts on each speaker for bi-amping. I have it set up now and it sounds great. Each amp has 2 channels, each channel runs one set of speaker posts. My question is what is the right way to connect the equipment?Brian
