Garebear, Here we are 3 years later. have you added a clock to your K-01XD? if so what did you pick and what did you not pick?

Tube pre to mate with a Simaudio amp and Dynaudio
I have had the set up you are looking for sim audio w-3 and it is great with the dynaudio 1.3se. Lots of power and a nice smooth laid back sound. big sound stage and good bass.

I may be of help here.. I own a pair of 1.3se and have had several amps in my system with it. i would stay away from the tubes as they don't have enough power. having said that, a tube sound is what makes them sound best, very open and smooth. try...
