HELP: is Monarchy Audio DAC a good idea? I have a remote system driven by the 18b output thru 75 feet of mic xlr cable to bel canto pre1 and Rotel 200w/ch. Sound is great.
4 Ohm vs. 8 Ohm, what does it mean..... Sneaky follow on--what does it mean that McIntosh has always given its' ratings (even back in the 60's)at 2, 4, and 8 ohms? I assume its' a sign (guarantee?) of linearity. I run a 7270 and 7300.
Is Audiogon worth it? I retired a few years ago. I have upgraded all my audio video gear (2 main systems) mostly on Audiogon. Nowhere else could I have gotten the quality, selection and price I got here. In over 20 transactions (not all in my rating)I found everyone to...

CD Players which connect direct to Amp? I have a Cary 303 with volume control (list is $500 extra), driving 60 feet of xlr mike cable to remote pre and system.

Lexicon MC-12, Anthem AVM-20, B &K Ref 30? See my reply to "Need advice...Used Aragon, etc (post date 4/30)". My soundstage drives a Mac 7270 thru RCA (unbal, because 7270 too old to have balanced inputs) and oth4er channel it drives a Mac 7300 thru 25 feet of bal XLR's cause 7300 is newer...
Need advice.....Used Aragon Soundstage or EAD..... I have a soundstage, love it. Easy to use, driving a Mac 7270 thru RCA outs for left channel, Mac 7300 thru 25' XLR for Right chan. Driving a second system by XLR surround outs to BelCAnto Pre1. Lots of inputs (currently have FM, DV88, DAT, Perp T...
PayPal may be in trouble...... I used Paypal for my first e-bay transaction. I then used it a couple more times until they told me I'd have to let them process a "test" transaction against my bank account (some gibberish about proving my worth). I spent my life in the investmen... |
