Another vote for the Ayre QX-5 Twenty. If you can find a used one that fits your budget you won’t regret it.

Also as previously posted, SQ (clarity) is better if the Yeti is not connected to its AC charger.

I bought a Yet 400 last week and have found similar improvements in depth and width of soundstage as described by the OP when directly powering my DAC. However there seemed to be a drop in bass depth and speed / impact compared to using AC outlet ...
