BEST USED SS AMP FOR 1.6QR

I am looking for a good used ss amp for magnepan 1.6QR speakers and there are alot of them out there for good prices. My source is a linn Genki with variable output. I am considereing Plinius 8150, bryston 3bst or 4bst, arragon 8008, muse 160, belles 150a, or pass labes. The input needs to be sensitive cuase the linn isn't too dynamic on it's variable out.

I am running a pair of 1.6's with an Ayre V3 and find the match to be quite good. Like the best of tube and solid state rolled into one. IMHO. All the best-Gary

I've heard them with the krell kav 300. Very good sound.

THE BEST AMP THAT I EVER HEARD WITH ANY MAGGIES IS THE SPECTRAL DMA 50 THIS LITTLE IN SIZE WILL HAVE THOSE MAGGIES DANCING,SECOND I WOULD AGREE WITH THE OTHER CHOICE THE AYRE AMPS ARE VERY NICE.BUT TRUST ME ON THE SPECTRAL GREAT MATCH.

Having recently auditioned the Maggies with both the Bryston 3B-ST and 4B-ST I have no problem recommending either amp. Either one in conjunction with the 1.6's makes for a very complimentary combination.
