Krell KAV-300cd

Lately, my Krell CD player seems incapable of playing some discs -- even new discs. After inserting the disc, the LCD display will not register that a disc is ready to play. Is anyone having the same problem with the Krell KAV-300cd? If so, how did you solve the problem?
