Tube dampers on your tube s in you CDP or DAC?

Wondering how many of you damp tubes in your CD players/DACs?
What product do you use?
rockadanny
I used both rubber and silicone dampers on a CJ dac and pre. They both worked great though the silicone did melt a tiny bit.Tightened up the sound and had better bass and highs. But tried them on my Vincent cdp and it just sounded constricted.

This is true, some will melt and adhere to the tube. Be wary of the cheap orange dampers sold on ebay. As I said before, I use Herbie's and they are very well constructed.

I use them, not sure which ones, but these are massive and good. But I haven't noticed any improvements in sound at all, to be honest.
