What to do with this Pioneer Elite 47Ai...

All over the map here with options but really looking for someone to talk me into either a new CDP such as the Sony 5400ES or go down the path of a DAC with and use the Pio as transport...

Itching to do something noticeable...$2k'ish on the budget.

Disregard...I just bought the 5400ES...

This hobby is A) never ending and B) getting expensive...and I have yet to even to start my homework on turntables or speaker cables yet... :)
