If you have a DAC already and you compare listening via the ipod analog out vs. docking it in the Wadia and sending a SPDIF signal to your DAC it will improve it a lot. I think it sounds even better than my CD transport feeding my DAC.

Keep in mind if you have an older Ipod then it doesn't work that well and possibly not at all.

if you have quality files. high resolution, this will better the sound of any doc setup i ahve heard. for the price, you can't go wrong. the better your dac and the better the files. you can be very satisfied.
