In what ways is Mark Levinson better than Krell?

I heard both integrated amps, I prefered the krell - more liquid sounding. For those who like Levinson, what do they see in it?

Thank you for all the posts - I will try to hear other ML amps - hope to come to love them as much as some of the posters do.

Many thanks for the voice experience ...

Has anyone compared the mark levinson 536 monoblocks with the Krell 575xd monoblocks?

Don't we realize that it also depends on the recording and the type of music one listens to that can have a great influence on ones opinion about the sound signature, on any given Day!

As a owner of most of the 3 series ML amps 331 332 335 and 336 (never got my hands on a 333). The mid range and the highs and clarity are very good. The bass is ok, but not great. the Krell bass slam is better.  But not by huge amounts. Where the mid and highs of the ML is a lot better. For me ML worked best with Transparent cables and interconnects.

If buying a used ML 3 series get it recapped at one of the ML repair centers well worth the money spent.

good luck
