Cheap HT and, forgive me, Bose

I keep my music and TV systems completely separate and don't care much about the TV. But, for reasons I'll spare you, I'm thinking about a very basic, cheap, easy-to-set up HT system for one room and find the alleged simple, wireless, DVD player included Bose 3.2.1 GS Series II appealing in concept at $1100. However, have picked up on the fact that no one on Agon seems to have much regard for the brand, was wondering what other recommends the board might have.

My recommendation for the best small satalite choice is the Infinity TSS750 satalite, also the matching center. These are far higher fidelity, better built (aluminum case), and are used in the shows for small systems.
Wow, thanks for the great input! I care a lot about music, which is why I keep the two systems separate and in separate rooms. My TV watching is really just news and an occassional movie. I'll research and look at all the recommendations, thanks again!
You could also try the Hsu Research Ventriliquist system. I've seen it demoed at CES and was very impressed.
