WBT copied the Eichmann plug with their release of "next gen" after ETI got big in 2008. Take a look at WBT and thier previous products. keep in mind. when talking to either ETI or WBT they will be biased and tell you "use our plugs with our female jacks"

why would they want you to buy their biggest competitions?
I recently listened to WBT Nextgen female RCA female plugs on a Tortuga preamp and they gave a lumpy fat bass and lack of tempo - the music seemed slow. These were replaced with some high grade copper rca females and problem fixed. The Cardas rac plugs on another friends Tortuga also sound excellent. I have a balanced Tortuga with factory plugs and sound is also excellent. Not sure if the WBT guys use their ears in designing - it is not pure science, one has to use a few good sets of audiophile ears along the way to get the best sound.
I like and prefer the sound KLE Harmony RCA plugs, by Keith Louis Eichmann/KLEI, to the Bullet RCA plugs.

For me the Harmony RCA plugs are more organic and natural sounding. Also the range of the Harmony plugs is excellent for trying with the vast array of very different wire and cable configurations that are out there. There is an amazing number of wire and cable configurations out there that is for sure.

Going by the above posts, I guess that means I will also like and prefer the KLE Harmony RCA plugs more than the NextGen RCA plugs.

I guess that simple little dab of solder on the tip will also work for the KLE Harmony RCA plugs. Little tips like this one are always handy, aren’t they.
Actually, although I find the KLE Harmony RCA plugs to be more organic and natural sounding, I also find them to be more resolving and mechanically better and stronger. At least that is how I find them to be.

That simple little dab of solder on the center pin tip, is interesting and a nice tip.
