What Is The Best 2 Channel CD Vivaldi Recording?

Anybody know of a real good recording of this and where i might be able to purchase it?
audioobsessed
My personal favorite for recording quality is "Vivaldi for Diverse Instruments" by Nicholas McGegan and the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra. It was put out by Reference Recordings, RR-77CD, and can be played back in HDCD, which is how I listen to it. It has a selection of Vivaldi concertos, but no Four Seasons. Worth a listen.
My favorite rendition of The Four Seasons is the 1969 Legends Perfomances on Decca, perfomed by the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields, Neville Marriner conducting. Also Vivaldi: L'estro Armonico—the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields, Neville Marriner conducting. Another favorite is Vivaldi Concert for the Prince of Poland, The Academy of Ancient Music, Andrew Manze director.
Look for the Concerto's for bassoon, oboe, etc. on the Astree label. Unbelievably good sound. Difficult to find, but worth the hunt.
