What are you streaming tonight?

As we are in the modern age of music I thought I would see how this fares.
We have threads specific for cdp and tt so why not streaming as it is a modern media.
I don't care if you stream Tidal, Deezer, Spotify, Paradise Radio or any number of internet stations.
I would like you to share your tastes and method of streaming.

Cowboy Junkies - The Trinity Sessions

Qobuz

The second CD I ever bought (the first was Fine Young Cannibals - The Raw and The Cooked). Another of The Audiophiliac’s favorites, as well as one of mine.
Lots of good drops on Qobuz this Friday.  See lots of us checking them out! Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Yo Yo Ma...
Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense

Qobuz

I've been meaning to listen to some John Mayall!  I’ll find it on Qobuz and give it a try. I don’t need much to test my subwoofer; I just needed something to help along my ELAC Debut 6.2s, and bought a small Jamo S 808 on an impulse.

never heard of Oli Silk, and haven’t listened to much Boney James.  Thanks for those suggestions!
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good live concert album?  I want to run a new sub through its paces.  Genre not important, although I am not much in a head banging mood today...

I bought it a couple years ago in a barn find. Never got around to cleaning and listening to it. Steve Guttenberg mentioned it in this morning’s post as one of his favorite live albums, and I was spurred to find it on Qobuz.  I really like it, great SQ and the music really works.

i used to have Deep Purple Live in Japan when I had a record collection.  May have to find it on Qobuz.
Scorpions - Tokyo Tapes (Live)

Qobuz

New subwoofer and stand sure give more depth to the soundstage!   Thanks for the recommendation, uberwaltz!
Herb Alpert’s Tijuana Brass - Whipped Cream and Other Delights (Ultra Remastered Double-Nickel Anniversary Fleamarket Overload)

Qobuz Hi-Res

Just kidding!  But I am listening to another album that is almost as ubiquitous at the flea market stalls and garage sales...

Little Feat - Waiting For Columbus

Qobuz

Funny, I used to see this album all the time but never did pick one up to listen to.  I did, however, attempt to buy a copy of “Whipped Cream” in an attempt to break the curse...it didn’t work 🥺

Deep Purple - Made In Japan

Qobuz Hi-Res

”Smoke On The Water” as I’ve never heard it!
OMG! I just checked, and “Whipped Cream...” is on a Qobuz in Hi-Res!    Yet, they don’t have “Dark Side of the Moon” in Hi-Res...

Thanks!  Quiet day, wife working from home, just listening to what shows up on the Discogs randomizer
Noticed all The Rolling Stones albums dropped on Qobuz today.    Not a rabid Stones fan, but might listen to Tattoo You and relive my college days.
Rolling Stones - Tattoo You

Qobuz Hi-Res

SQ a bit disappointing.  But you don’t listen to the Stones for the engineering.🕴🏻🕺

Agree re: Rolling Stones.   Planning on listening to the new Khruangbin album tomorrow, along with Arca.  Trying to listen to newer artists to impress my grand-daughter.

Khruangbin - Mordechai

Qobuz Hi-Res

Nice mellow mix of genres.  May have to listen to more of their stuff.

Ok, just was on a thread over at AV Forums ("White Lives Matter" - racist?) and started seeing some real uncomfortable comments. Need to get my head sorted, so listening to some good music from when UK music lovers gave a f*** about race relations.

Various Artists - The Best Of 2 Tone

Qobuz

Featuring the labels best known artists: Madness, The Selecter, The Specials, The (English) Beat, etc.
Arca - KiCki

Qobuz Hi-Res

Not to my tastes, but interesting none the less.  Might take another session to wrap my mind around it.
I know what you mean. Sometimes I like to listen to Qobuz playlists in my car.

Good Music all!   The soundtrack of my high school and college days.  Still listen to all that stuff occasionally.
