I just listened to the Vandys driven by all Naim stuff. I mean all Naim from the cd player to the spkr cables. I thought they sounded a little edgy and not warm at all. The dealer had no tube gear to to hook 'em up to. Anybody heard the 5's driven by tubes?

I have heard the 5's driven by ARC VT200 and it sounded cold, bright, and not very coherent. Maybe the amp has not had a chance to break in yet. However, when driven by Quicksilver V4 monoblocks (from another dealer), the 5's just sounded wonderfully. Go figure.
