How many hours do you have on the Signatures? I wonder if they'll get better with more time? I too am considering upgrading from the 2ce to the 2ce Signature. Keep us posted.

Johnstassi is it possible that the tilt back on the 2Ce Sigs you listened to were not at the same angle as your original speakers? As you know that makes a world of difference in the tonal balance in the listening position.

Stevecham, you made a good point, thx - I had them tilted same as the 2CE, and when I just reduced the tilt it seems more pleasing. My couch has probably settled lower with all this listening.

Thanks for your input. I currently have a pair of 1cs and am considering upgrading to the 2ce-sigs. Since RV has been updating them every year, I would think that even minor changes compounded over 8 years would at some point become signficant. Also wondering if any of the technology from the Quatros or 5A has trinkled down to the 2ce-sigs.

Does your 2ce have the 1" or 3/4" tweeter? RV says in his Q&A that the last few months of the 2ce had many of the upgrades of the 2ce-sig including the 1" tweeter. That definitely would affect the top end.

Could you let us know how the new 2ce-sigs sound after you've tweaked their placement/tilt and are fully broken in?

The 2 CE did have the 1" tweeter. Jebel- what types of music do you usually listen to?
