Tuner rebuild; T9 Onkyo

Hi folks:

I've got a semi-functional T9 Onkyo tuner. When these were new (say 25 years ago) they had a well deserved reputation as one of the better tuners of the day. I'd like to get mine repaired (no stereo) and perhaps upgraded.

I know there was at one time an Audiogon member that claimed to rebuild T9 Onkyos. Anyone know how to track him down or can someone be recommended to repair and improve this unit?
