Tripp Lite LC-1800a

Hi-
Anyone know what this is? There is ample info out there on the LC-1800. This is a different beast. It says it is a Line stabilizer/conditioner and "Low & High voltage regulator with ISOBAR noise and spike reduction."
Anyone??

This is just from memory so, as such, is subject to being completely wrong but here goes anyway: I think the LC-1800 is a line conditioner and is still available, while the LC-1800a was a voltage regulator and may not be available anymore...at least, I haven't seen one in 5 or so years. If anybody has a different recollection, feel free to contradict me. Hope that helps.
TrippLite is sending me a manual. The LC-1800 is available, and the LC-1800a is not.
I'm hoping that the LC-1800a acts as the LC-1800 with added voltage regulation.
So sorry to revisit this old post, but I have an old Tripp Lite LC 1800a that is in good condition. It offers low and high voltage regulation. I checked its output: 129.9v at 59.9 hz, compared with my outlet at 117 v at 60 hz. It states that it has isobar isolated noise and spike suppression.
Inside the beast is a large transformer that is connected to a 3 circuits that are themselves composed of discrete components.
The unit I have, when plugged in has a low level AC hum, but I recall that is exactly how it performed when it was new.
I often wonder if it is something to use with my audiophile equipment? I'm inclined not to attempt it, as I value my equipment, and will by a more modern voltage regulator when money becomes available.
