Yes, the VPI JMT tonearm is superb. Arguably one of the 2-3 best pivoted arms made today, and compared to the top-end arms it is a real bargain. If you are looking for a good used tonearm, I have a Sumiko Premier FT-3 that I have been using on my own VPI HW-19 Mk 3, which I have just upgraded to the Mk 4 version. I have replaced the Sumiko with a Rega RB900. If you are interested in my Sumiko, contact me at this E-mail: SDCamp1113@cs.com. Thanks, Scott
Tonearm for VPI HW MkIII
Hi, I'm contemplating a step up from my current (very forgettable) tonearm. The choices are between an Origin Live modified RB300, ET2 (although I hear it's a realy pain in the upkeep department) and the JMW arm from VPI. Is the VPI arm really that much better than anything else in that price range? Thanks for the response
