Thoughts on using Creek Evolution 50A as a pre-amp?

...paired with a more powerful amp?  I love the sound of the Creek, but want to experiment with more power and bass control with KEF LS50s. Any thoughts or recommendations?

i'm using mine as a preamp 95 % of he time with JOLIDA hybrid integrated and with my Tube integrated . works fine as a preamp. smooth gain and tone controls is a bonus. Using the amp as an integrated never disappoints either.
