Thiel Owners

Guys-

I just scored a sweet pair of CS 2.4SE loudspeakers. Anyone else currently or previously owned this model?
Owners of the CS 2.4 or CS 2.7 are free to chime in as well. Thiel are excellent w/ both tubed or solid-state gear!

Keep me posted & Happy Listening!

Acoustic Zen (AZ) satori seems to be an Audiophile favorite. I have read about these Speaker cables across other Audio forums over the years.

Have you considered a Number (run) for your finished Speaker? Double or Triple digits in total?  I hope that you find a space to continue Hot Rod garage.

Good to see you here again. Nice score on those CS3 loudspeakers. Thank You for citing the Serial Numbers (S/N).  You could very well be the only Panel member that owns this Model.

What other gear is in your system?

Thank You for the follow up to the generalized query about Grill off/on.

I can only speak to the effect for models CS 2.4/2.4 SE, CS 2.7 and CS 3.7 loudspeakers. During my demo sessions, I detected no discernible difference(s).  Based upon your speaker positions, I would safely say that you are dialed-in. Enjoy that larger-than-life soundstage.

What can I say? Thank You,  for initial reports on the new-and-improved CS 2.4 by re-positioning the XO panel. This is the Model closest  to my Audiophile heart.

Welcome! Good to see you here. Stand by until one of our DIY guys chimes in to address your query. The CS 2.4 loudspeaker is a Honey. Even better once upgraded to "SE" status. I look forward in reading more about your Musical taste and system.

What are the Serial Numbers (S/N) on your pair?

Welcome! good to see you here. Make sure that all cables are connected to your gear. Tight connections on the speakers as well. Once this is accomplished continue to listen for improved sound.
There are a few CS 2.2 owners here on the Panel. Stay tuned until they chime in to address your query.

Laughing...I give full Credit to you guys- The Panel. Excellent discussion on all things XO and the many virtues of modding. Keep DIY'ing.

Thank You for assisting Tom with his SCD-1. We (audiophiles) need more expert techs to "mod" our Reference cd/sacd spinners. This particular trade is slowly disappearing. And no, servers/streamers, are not the answer.

Consult Mr. Rob Gillum about the thread size for 3.6 loudspeakers.
Perhaps, he can be of service here.

Do you incorporate pairs CS3, CS 2.4 and CS 2.7 loudspeakers all in 1 room?

Separate room(s) and system(s)?

Good to see you here again. Are you still using a Hegel with your CS 2.7 loudspeakers? What other gear rounds out your system?

Welcome! Good to see you here. I can understand the appeal of B&W 800 series speakers. For a few years, I enjoyed the 805 monitor.
Are you looking to build a complete system around the 800 loudspeakers?

Regarding selling your current gear- check out U.S. Audiomart. The fee for selling over there is much less than here or eBay. Something to consider.

Welcome! Good to read that you are another fan of the CS 3.7 loudspeaker and Conrad Johnson electronics. Reading through this thread, I chased the 350 Premier for quite a few years. It is an incredible Power Amp! You are fortunate to own one. Also good to read that you are located in the greater Nashville area.

Take your time, enjoy reading through this thread. You will find several fans and owners of the 3.7 model. Enjoy the Music!

Good to see you here again. If you are the kind of Audiophile whom enjoys rich texture within musical passages, the competition, will always result short.  What gear is in your current system?

Thank You for citing the Cables in the shoot-out. Cardas certainly had stiff competition. I have always wanted to demo Kubala and Tell-Q cables/cords.

Good to see you here again. I am impressed with all of your systems!
Which brand(s) of cables and cords are you currently using?
I believe that you are the only Panel member here utilizing SST Ampzilla.
Looking forward in reading more about A/B shoot-outs. Enjoy the Music!
