Excellent discussion and an exchange of ideas moving the 3.5 into 2020 and beyond. The addition of subwoofer(s) seems a logical progression given that critical parts for the older EQ might not be readily available.I can remember 1985, a long time ago, indeed.

I, too, use a Richard Gray conditioner (Pro400). I can hardly await to use it in an Audio manner. Since purchase, I have used it in a Video manner to excellent effect. These are excellent products that really elevate an Audio system to the next level w/o degrading presentation and sound.

Excellent! Good to read that Acoustic Zen (AZ) and DH Labs are a sonic match w/ Thiel loudspeakers. The Shanling is a fine spinner as well.Is this company still in business?Your ears do not deceive. A Pre-Amp, is the heart of any Audio system.Yes, an Integrated amp counts as well.

If you enjoy the house sound, seek out a pair of 928 or 936 models.Those are classic loudspeakers.
