So, how do I get this new technology into my 3.7s?

A pair of CS 3.7 are on my list to purchase. They have to be in very good condition and within a reasonable driving distance for me to purchase as shipping is not an option with the high risk of damage.

With that said, as upgrades are being made I can test what Tom mentioned on a pair that I hope to get and can report back.

Thanks @ig316b.  I'll check this out.  The non-repairability of the SS is a problem, too be sure.

While we're on that subject, I've waited for years for an appropriate SmartSub pair to come on the market to use with my 3.7s. I even have the PXO5 Passive Crossovers for the 3.7.  Since this now seems a lost cause, can anyone recommend nice (SOTA) subs that are out there? Thanks in advance.

At Tom's suggestion a few years ago I added the Kimber/WBT-0610cu banana connectors to the nude terminations of my Morrow SP7 speaker cables. Nice improvement in timbral purity and saturation and stage. Well worth the cost and effort. Rest of system is 3.7, all Benchmark, Aurender N10 source.
