Same here. There are many options in that price range, but I wanted an interchangeable headshell for messing around and a cat-resistant dustcover.

I'm another very pleased owner as of the last year or so. Nothing but good experience with it, and I do actually make use of the 78rpm speed option as well. Very solid build.

I RECENTLY PURCHASED THIS TT AND MOUNTED THE SUMIKO AMETHYST CARTIDGE. I COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS. I AM DONE WITH BELT DRIVES FOR MY MAIN RIG. THE DENON IS A PLEASURE TO OPERATE AND DELIGHTFUL PLAYING ANYTHING I SPIN.
