Synergistic New Tesla Line...Any comments?

I just bought Synergistic Research's new Tesla Accelerator speaker cables and Tesla Vortec interconnects from The Cable Company. I have tried many demo cables from The Cable Company over the past year. These were the first to give me that WOW factor I been looking for so long.

Does anyone have these cables and can you please post your impressions and comments? Thanks.

Oh.. I also got my demo MIGs yesterday... but still haven't had a chance to start playing with them. Today I had laundry going and an afternoon apt and didn't want to do serious listening with all the dirty electronics running.

Which configurations did you end up preferring with your MIGs? I've just got the two sets in and ended up with them both in Ambient configuration. I'm going to let things settle and then play around with them again tomorrow. It's pretty easy to swap them in and out without having cables move once they are installed.

I think I'll try swapping the CDP to pinpoint and see how I like that.

I'm kicking myself for not getting 3 sets to demo.

I'm definitely buying two sets though, and going to demo a set on the amp.
It's nice/fun because the orientation is so system and listener preference dependent. My 1.6s are pinpoint spotlight masters. The ambient setting works well with them.

I'm on the list for demoing the Galileo cells. I'll be especially interested in how they do with my speaker cables which are still Audioquest bedrocks, one of the cheaper audioquest cables. That'd be a real test... not how they improve SRs own cables, but how they improve less expensive cables from other brands.
TBG,

Did he say why on the quartz? Not that I have any acoustic revive stuff or any quartz in the room. But I do have some of Alan Maher's CBFs for the panel.
Since you beat, beat, beat the SR drum and others are encouraged to spend, spend, spend based on your raves,

I don't see your point, or that there is much validity to your statement. Are you claiming that the rest of us rush out to buy buy buy anything and everything SR because TBG says it's so fantastic nothing else will do?

Because that would be quite the false statement. Majority of us ended up with SR cables after demoing several brands. Some of us they came highly recommended as a good system match from places like the cable company. Some of us attend shows such as RMAF and CES and hear the demos and want to try the product. Majority of us once we try one product we want to try others.
To get back on track. I got my third set of MIGs. If you recall I wasn't sure on putting a set on the amp. It sits on an SRA Ohio Class XL-squared stand and SRA is in the camp that footers with their stands might hurt more than help.

Well I'm glad I didn't listen. I put the third set under the amp on the stand, in the pin-point orientation. All others are in the other orientation.

Wow. It really brought things together. Tightened up the soundstage a bit more and the depth and holographicness (is that a word?) is beyond phenomenal. My system has never dreamed of sounding this good! And I'm still on cheap audioquest speaker cables!

Ted... can you tell us when the downloads for the master file project will be available?

thanks!
Rilbr,

Which of Alan's products do you have besides the CBFs on the service panel? And what are their locations?

thanks!
In regards to the new recommended placement for the ART system, has anything else changed besides the placement of the side satellites? Anywhere I can read these new recommendations? I've still yet to finish setting mine up! stupid window...

I did however receive a demo set of universal speaker cells the other day. I tried them with my cheapo audioquest cables and was impressed with the improvement. Then I decided I'd try the cables that came with the cells and was blown away. They're settling in right now so I can do some real listening next week :)

I haven't moved my migs since I put them in. What difference in sound does moving them further inward under the component make? I have them at the recommended 1" from edge placement.
If anyone can expand on this new placement I would love to hear more exacting details.
I can't find anything online about this new ART placement. I'd like to try the new changes but can't if I don't know what they are.
Thank you TBG!
I wonder, since I use the BASIK system, if these recommendations work for it as well. IE add a second BASIK kit, using the 4 satellites on the speaker wall in addition to the satellite used in lieu of the Vibratron, and then the bass station put in the rear.

Electrical tape... use it, it works wonders for hiding the LED light without changing the sound any.
Most definitely there is. The cells that I borrowed were just starting to come into their own when my time with them ran out. They were stunning in my system though!
