I vote for the vandersteens. That's just my taste though. It is the most general purpose hi-end loudspeaker I have heard. They have wonderful bass with good detail and wonderful 'musicality'. I think the 2ce Signature is also less snotty about it's placement and system components. The proac is a little clearer and more detailed. If set up in a perfect listeners room, it will image a little better.

HELLO FRIENDS I HAVE THE VANDERSTEEN 2CE SIGNATURE I AM USING ALSO: MUSICAL FIDELITY A3CR POWER AMP MF A3CR PREAMP ROKSAN CASPIAN CD PLAYER KIMBER SILVERSTREAK INTERCONNECT AND KIMBER 8 PR BIWIRED I AM THINKING OF UPGRADING THE SPEAKERS TO THE PROAC RESPONSE 1.5 ALSO, MY WIFE THINKS THAT THE VANDIS ARE TO BIG TO OUR LIVING ROOM... ( NOTHING TO DO ABOUT IT...) IS IT AN UPGRADE? DID ANYONE HEAR THEM BOTH? THANKS FOR ANY ADVISE MENI
