PrimaLuna Integrated Premium HP match Sonus Faber Venere 3.0 speakers.

Hi, want to find out if the Sonus Faber Venere 3.0 is a good match for PrimaLuna Integrated Amp HP. I've read so many excellent review about the PrimaLuna that I'm curious about the matching. I'm currently using Bryston 4B3 with the Venere 3.0 and sounds great with the ARC LS17 Preamp.

Now would like to switch to a tube integrated amp.

Any advice?

Thanks

I did say it would probably sound good, but it won’t get the best from these speakers.

Look what happens to the power transfer of the Prima Luna (black trace) into the "mild load" of "Kantor" speaker load, and the Sonus Faber’s are much more severe than this.

There will be a big power drain around 100hz -200hz region because of the SF’s 2.1ohm load at 135hz

I can’t speak for Prima Luna but I did have a client with the Venere S and he really enjoyed the MastersounD Dueventi with them. He is a member here so maybe he will chime in.

I dont know how the demands compare between the two speakers so I’m not sure how good the comparison is.
Merry Christmas everybody and thanks for your opinions and suggestions. The SF Venere 3.0 are a true sweet sound speakers and that's what I enjoy the must about them. Looking at he variety of comments, maybe I should schedule a listening and come back to you guys.

As it right now, I found that the Bryston after 75 hours it's getting better and better! It has a tridimensional sound that really surprise me and sound stage with authority.

Thanks

Juan
