It certainly looks like ribbon cable used for computer and other electronic connections, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t work well for audio.
I’ve built speaker cables with similar flat multiple parallel small gauge solid core wire and they sounded pretty good. Such a speaker connection is one of the options in Allen Wright’s “The SuperCables CookBook.”
