Phono pre amp

I had to send my intergrated amp in for service and I'm looking for a decent , inexpensive phono pre-amp to use temporarily with my Arcam SR250? I have a Project and don't care for the sound quality. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

My Int amp has a built in phono stage which I like. For now I'm using my Arcam SR250 which doesn't have a phono stage. Right now I'm using a Project phono box which I don't care for the sound quality. So I'm looking for a little better sound at a reasonable price for a temporary solution.

Background noise on the Mani 2 is lower than the original.  Schiit offers a $188, 30-day free-return deal on Amazon, and I encourage you to take advantage of that generous policy. Once you factor in shipping for the $149 price on Schiit’s own website, the total cost nearly matches the Amazon deal—but with fewer benefits. Ordering from Schiit directly means only 15 days for a home audition and a restocking fee if you decide to return it.

You never know if you'll like it, and buying through Amazon gives you that extra layer of protection—like a bomb shelter.

I'm not suggesting anyone abuse this loaner-friendly policy, but if you're picky like I am, I highly recommend taking advantage of it. I once tried the SYS, Schiit's most basic preamp that many rave about, but I ended up returning it with great disappointment. (I kept the Saga 2 instead—it’s significantly better.)  Ever since, I’ve had strong reservations about Schiit’s most entry-level products, and I think this Amazon offer is a smart way to avoid buyer’s remorse.

Duok T4 Tube mm preamp. Inexpensive yet sounds nice. Good for something temporary.
