Need interconnect advice

Good day all. I need to replace our interconnects, and need some feedback from you on your experience. I am looking for cables that will smooth out out a slightly grainy digital source (mid-level DVD), but am also looking for good detail and quiet backgrounds. The amp is an Antique Sound 2x15 integrated (using Svetlana KT-88's), the speakers are Mordaunt Short 2-way monitors, and speaker cables are Audioquest Crystal. I would like to spend no more than $125 for the pair (.5 meter), and the main quality I'm looking for is smoothness, followed by "blackness" and then bass. Please share your experience and thanks for your time!

The perfect interconnect for your price range and wants is the Millersound Cables. They sell for $119 for a 1/2M pair and can be purchased directly from the company. Give them a call at (215)412-7700 I know you will thank me. These cables are absolutely jaw dropping at any price let alone for $119 a pair!
I would look up an MIT cable. They're not my favorite but they fit your wants perfectly. They are great for tube systems. You'll probable end up around the MIT-330, go to www.audioadvisor.com for new ones.
discontinued AQ opal. will tame the zippy AQ crystal, and seems to beef-up the bottom. ic's out there remind me of a firesign theatre line...fight piles of files with smiles. so much product, so little money. opal/crystal combo works well for me, and won't break the bank.
